Question about how to judge whether content is too closely paraphrasing While at a meetup in Hong Kong I found @だ＊ぜ: (local Hong Konger) is translating Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing into Mandarin Chinese. He looked at the original English version of the page but he is not exactly sure how to judge whether content is too closely paraphrasing or not and some specific points such as (from zh:User:だ＊ぜ/Sandbox/Wikipedia:類似之改述): He is not sure how to explain "substantial similarity: to readers since the concept does not exist in Chinese, nor does it exist in the jurisprudence of any of the territories in Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and the ROC/Taiwan area).
