Vishal Vasu (born on January 26, 1972) is the Director and CTO at Dev Information Technology Ltd and Byte Technosys Pvt Ltd, an information technology company based in Ahmedabad.[1][2] Vishal Vasu leads the company’s Technology and Innovation ecosystem.

Vishal have been in the IT industry since 1997 and have specialized on Microsoft platform with core focus on Active Directory, Exchange Servers, Small Business Server, SharePoint, ISA and IIS Web Servers. Vishal has volunteered for Dewang Mehta Foundation.

Early life & Education

Vishal was born on January 26 1972 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India but relocated to Ahmedabad when his father – Nagendra Vijay – shifted to Ahmedabad from Mumbai in order to establish his publishing business under the brand name of Vishal Publications and Harshal Publications. He did his schooling from Prakash Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad and graduation from Gujarat University.

He always had a liking for computers and technology. And this liking got the better of him. He decided to pursue and build his career in IT industry. He got attached with power of computing when he was almost 14 or 15 after reading the book “Electronic Life” – a non-fiction book by Michael Crichton. But his actual career started in the year 1997 when he launched himself in the IT Training field.

Vishal is fond of music and loves to play Guitar. Jim Reeves, BoneyM, Abba, Jagjit Singh are some of his favourites. Vishal is also an avid reader, enjoys good food and love movies. He also likes to paint with oils on canvas. Vishal also happen to be a photography lover and love getting out and about with my Canon 450D and Canon 7D DSLR. I treasure a 18-55mm, 18-200mm, 75-300mm, 50mm prime and a 100-400mm Canon lenses.

Family History

Vishal Vasu belongs to nationalist journalists-writers family. His father Nagendra Vijay is an Indian science writer and editor-in-chief at Safari_(magazine). His grandfather Vijaygupta Maurya was also a pioneer science writer in Gujarati. Vishal is married to Sapna Vasu since 1995 and has two kids Divit Vasu and Diya Vasu.
