Rumble is an upcoming American computer-animated sports comedy film directed by Hamish Grieve. The film stars the voices of Geraldine Viswanathan, Will Arnett, Terry Crews, Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy Tatro, and Susan Kelechi Watson. Produced by Paramount Animation, WWE Studios, Walden Media and Reel FX Animation Studios, it is currently scheduled to be released in the United States on January 29, 2021 by Paramount Pictures.
Plot
In a world where giant monsters and humans co-exist, the monsters are superstar athletes and compete in a popular professional wrestling global sport called monster wrestling. A teenager named Winnie (Geraldine Viswanathan) seeks to follow in her father's footsteps as a manager by coaching a lovable underdog yet-inexperienced monster named Steve (Will Arnett). Winnie plans to turn Steve into a champion so that he can go up against the reigning champion Tentacular (Terry Crews).

Production
On April 25, 2018, the film was announced with the title Monster on the Hill, based on the 2013 graphic novel of the same name by Rob Harrell, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.[1] The title was subsequently changed to Rumble.
Release
On September 19, 2019, the film was scheduled to be released on July 31, 2020.[2] On November 12, 2019, the release date was pushed back to January 29, 2021.[3]
Marketing
A teaser trailer was shown before select screenings of Sonic the Hedgehog in theaters. It was released online on February 26, 2020.
