We Can Be Heroes is an upcoming American superhero film written, directed and produced by Robert Rodriguez, serving as a stand-alone sequel to The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D (2005).

Plot

After their parents have been kidnapped by alien invaders, the children of Earth's superheroes team up and learn to work together to save their parents and the world.

Robert Rodriguez will write, direct, and produce the superhero film We Can Be Heroes through his Troublemaker Studios for Netflix.[2]

Casting

Priyanka Chopra will star in the film,[2] along with Christian Slater and Pedro Pascal.[3]

Filming

Principal photography began in August 2019, shooting in Texas.[3]
