Please Conditionally Restore The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Texas and similar articles

I request that that these 3 pages be restored without the contested material (large portions of the "history" section) for the following reasons:

The page was deleted before I was able to contest. I'm not sure if others had any oportunity to contest.
In all 3 articles, it was generally only the "history" that had similar phrases.
For The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Texas, the text actually 'predated the article it was accused of copywriting. But I'm still ok with the "history" section being removed upon restoration of the article.
For The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Samoan Islands, it was moved from "...in Samoa" to this location with American Samoa being added. Most of the "history" Section was added at this time.
For The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Puerto Rico, I removed the text that was considered copyright violation, but then it was reverted by another user prior to it being nominated for speedy deletion. I did briefly leave a message on dlthewave talk page, who nominated the deletion, concerning this issue. As of this evening there was no reply.

This was requested for "Speedy Deletion" under condition G12. Unambiguous copyright infringement

This page was not "restored to versions prior to the infringement". The entire page in all 3 cases involved only the "history" section and portions of it in some cases. This is why I'm confused when I see this, but the entire page was removed.Dmm1169 (talk) 03:02, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Dmm1169, I restored, ran Earwig, and removed the matched text. Most of the problematic text was added by ChristensenMJ, who is presumably unaware of our strict copyright rules. Actually, it may be worth noting that I didn't actually "add" any of the text which has now been called into question. I simply restored what looked more like section blanking by Dmm1169, the article's original creator, since there was absolutely no edit summary given as to why a "history" section was entirely removed and left entirely blank. I noted this in the edit summary of my revert. Thanks to each of you for your efforts on these articles, while I add agreement that much needs to be done to improve them. Dmm1169, I saw your message on my talk page and I apologize for not responding sooner. I may have been a bit overzealous in requesting speedy deletion; looking over these articles again I can see that the History section was the problem and could have been removed instead of deleting the article outright. Going forward I will be more precise in removing the infringing text only. I will also hold off on copyright cleanup for now in order to give you a chance to rewrite. I spend a lot of time on copyright cleanup and usually the editors are no longer around or uninterested in rewriting, but I can see that you're editing in good faith and willing to work with us. When I have time, I'll investigate further to see if there's evidence that www.thechurchnews.com is copied from Wikipedia instead of the other way around. If you did indeed copy this from another source, we'd appreciate you letting us know since it would save a lot of time; there generally wouldn't be any consequences as long as you cooperate and work to rewrite if that is the case. Hello, I am trying to add a page about the DiSSCo research infrastructure, first it was on the list for deletion because of a "copyright infringment", ok so I completely rewrote it, in a style not in any way promoting, in my own words, with a lot of independent resources etc and you still delete it?? I put a lot of effort in in getting all the resources. I was fan of Wikipedia but am getting very disappointing now. Can you please undelete so I can discuss in the forum how the article can be further improved if furter improvements are needed.

Deletion of "Alexa Nova"

Hi Jim, I realize it's looked down upon to write an auto-biography, but I am a notable adult film performer though. I was just getting started writing, was nowhere near close to the completion and I would have loved to have someone else step in to edit or adjust things once I had the framework set up at least. Why do I just get instantly deleted without any chance of revising my article? I didn't submit it because it wasn't anywhere near ready. I rewrote some things someone who had wrote a biography about me had said, so that's probably why you felt it was vain. But I am honestly trying to have an non-bias article overall. I do have plenty of notability links/references. I didn't list all in my first draft at all. Could you restore the page so I could keep working on it? Please restore my page, and is there a way to request that someone else write it for me? So it can be as non-biased and non-promotional as possible. Otherwise, I'll do my best to work on it to make it to wiki standards, what should I do when it's still a draft? just not publish it? I want to avoid it getting instantly deleted again. I had nominations for either AVN or XBIZ awards, years 2017-2019. It is difficult to find the complete lists of prior year's nominations though. I have been searching hard for them. I was nominated for AVN Best VR scene in 2017 and also nominated for the AVN fan award, Hottest Newcomer that year also. (I think iafd might be one of the only places with this listed online) I was also in a feature movie, "Girl Fiction" by Smash Pictures/Tanya Tate, that got nominated for a 2017 XBIZ Best All-Girl Movie award. 2019, I was an AVN Best VR scene nominee, for the "VRB World Cup" scene I was in, for VR Bangers company. Also, had another AVN nomination in 2019 for "Most Outrageous Sex Scene" for "Everything Butt"/Kink.com, and an AVN fan award nomination in 2019 for "Most Epic Ass". Any suggestions on how I can find acceptable references for these nominations? since AVN website only shows complete nominee list from the most recent year. update: I actually managed to get the wayback machine archived version of the 2017 nominee list from AVN Awards website. None of the versions from end of 2018 would load correctly, just kept re-directing to the 2020 AVN nominee list, so I wasn't able to get the 2019 list that same way. I did find a copy of the complete 2019 AVN nomination list in an article though, so I'm hoping that link will be an acceptable reference instead. For some reason, the XBIZ nomination wikitable is showing up underneath where the references are though, and I'm pretty sure references are supposed be at the very bottom. Looking at Adriano's article, yours is certainly better than that, and if the reviewers make suggestions for improvement, go with the flow. I just made a couple of minor changes to the infobox, formatting to our style, and not using abbreviations for states since we're not all Americans (although even I could work out NV!) Nonameplayer, I was going to reply n your talk page, but I see that you systematically blank that and your user page, so I won't waste my time with that. It's at least informal, if not promotional, to write throughout using first names (I'm not cler who or what Lua is, no link or explanation), and I think its definitely promotional to write Robert remained a faithful Bahá’í after returning to America from Pilgrimage attributed to a Bahá'í source published nearly 40 years after his death (incidentally, "died" is preferred here to the euphemistic "passed". Similarly, Robert reportedly recited the Greatest Name as his illness became worse has a 2018 Bahá'í source, and I suppose more than anything the two glowing eulogies seem intended to promote the reputation of the man, rather than add anything in terms of real facts. I'm sure I could find quotes from Republicans saying how wonderful Donald Trump is, but they wouldn't get in his article because they are supporters opinions, not real facts. Lua Getsinger was mentioned in the sentence before the one you quoted "Robert first heard of the Bahá’í Faith while accompanying Phoebe on a trip to Paris when Lua Getsinger visited Phoebe and spoke about the religion.". Throughout that article, she is referred to as "Lua".

The whole sentence was "Robert remained a faithful Bahá’í after returning to America from Pilgrimage, when several other early Bahá’ís either left the Faith or supported Covenant-breaking." The word "faithful" can be removed without changing the meaning of the sentence.

This is also mentioned by Robert Turner's contemporary, Louis G. Gregory (Gregory, Louis "Robert Turner", World Order, Vol. 12, Apr. 1946, pp. 28-29)

Regarding your example of Donald Trump, he is a living person and has a different set of requirements (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons) than a person who has passed over 100 years ago. "Biographies of living persons ("BLPs") must be written conservatively"

Man, that post was just like hundreds of other pages for musicians. If you are right you should delete everything.
