Synopsis - copyrighted material?
The content previously contained in the synopsis appears to be a verbatim copy from a movie review. Likely copyrighted material. I have removed it. Unless evidence can be found that the review is public domain, it should not be added back. -- Tcncv (talk) 05:35, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- It was ad copy from Sony Pictures. I've paraphrased it and added a short synopsis to the article. --Pixelface (talk) 06:00, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. -- Tcncv (talk) 00:50, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Production
The article had no Production section so I started one. The AV Club mentions learning things from the director's commentary[1] so anyone interested in expanding the section further might want to try to get more information from the commentary. The film used various locations in New York and Scotland, if you can find a more reliable source than IMDB it would be interesting to have more detailed location information.[2]
Also, I was surprised that the article contained no mention of My Best Friend's Wedding, most reviews made the comparison so I added it to the Critical response section. If someone does not like the way I worded it and wants to change it completely that's fine, but I do think it is important to mention the frequent comparisons somewhere in the article at least once, so rephrase away but please do not remove it entirely. I was amused by an article from Entertainment Weekly that compared this film to Iron Man that opened the same week but I couldn't think of an excuse to add it anywhere.[3]
There's plenty of room for improvement, finding more reliable sources will be the difficult part. -- 109.79.72.153 (talk) 20:53, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
