Barnum → Barnum (disambiguation) –
In the same manner that Tchaikovsky redirects to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Hemingway redirects to Ernest Hemingway and Nixon redirects to Richard Nixon, so should Barnum redirect to P. T. Barnum whose name has become a byword. Barnum (disambiguation) would thus be analogous to Tchaikovsky (disambiguation), Hemingway (disambiguation), etc — Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 22:56, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support. The primary meaning of "Barnum" is the prominent showman Phineas Taylor Barnum, not anything else. 209.211.131.181 (talk) 03:00, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support for the reasons above.--Lemuellio (talk) 09:42, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- For each of the people named here, how long after he died and his deeds go back into history do/did he remain the dominant meaning? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:11, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
