Chapter 6 of book 3 titled "Yokohama, July 1974" contains quite a few scenes of hetero- and homosexual people having intercourse openly, although somewhat hidden in a park in Yokohama. How realistic is this description of quasi-open love making, were there such californian style scenes to be seen in Japan of 1974?
