The +–=÷x Tour (pronounced the Mathematics Tour[2]) is the fourth world concert tour by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. Comprising 74 shows, the tour officially began on 21 March 2022, in London, England, and is due to end on 12 March 2023 in Perth, Australia.[3][4] The tour is in support of his fifth studio album, = (2021). Ticket sales began in September 2021.

Background

On September 17, 2021, Sheeran announced a 27-date European tour.[5][6] As soon as tickets went on sale, dates were added to several dates across the tour due to overwhelming demand, bringing the overall number of shows to 64.[7] On March 15, 2022, Sheeran announced the Oceania leg of the tour. Tickets are currently scheduled to go on-sale on 23 March 2022.[8] On March 22, 2022, Sheeran added 3 shows to the Oceania leg of the tour; in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.[9] On June 15, 2022, Sheeran added an additional 3 shows to the Oceania leg of the tour; in Wellington, Auckland, and Brisbane.
