On November 23, 1999, the station switched back to a CHR/Top 40 station and rebranded as Smile Radio 99.1 XYFM, with its slogan, "Live It Up!". Along with its reformat, XYFM jingle was performed by Jay Marquez and Ces Azaret, similar to its Manila station, adapting the KCFM's station identification. The station shifted to CHR/Top 40 format and underwent transition period, with less commercials by some of its local advertising. At the evening of May 15, 2002, XYFM's CHR/Top 40 format was only lasted for 3 years, when all RMN FM stations signed off for the last time due to signifying another rebrand.

2002-2017 (as iFM)

On May 16, 2002, the station was relaunched as iFM and brought back its mass-based format. With that, it features a upgraded 10 kW transmitter (30 kW ERP) for clearer signal and the station revamp the slogan, "Hit after hit, iFM" trying to compete against the dominating MOR 94.3 (now Radyo Kidlat 94.3 in Ormoc). The jingles used for iFM stations nationwide were produced by TM Studios and Studio Dragonfly, in which used its station IDs by Detroit-based 93.1 DRQ FM.

On March 2, 2009, following the expansion of RMN's strongest sixty (60) owned-and-operated and affiliate stations under the Radyo Mo Nationwide network, iFM changed its new logo and the slogan Sa iFM, Siguradong Enjoy Ka!
