Saih Al Dahal (Arabic:سيح الدحل), or also Saih Al Danal, is a community of the Emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. It is located in the Sector 9 in South Dubai.
Territory
The territory of the community occupies an area of 190.2 km²[1] in southern Dubai.
The area bounded on the north by the communities of Ghadeer Barashy and Al Hathmah, on the east by that of Al Fagaa, on the south by those of Saih Shua'alah and [ [Al O'shoosh]] and west from that of Hefair.[2]
The territory of the community is totally desert and falls totally within the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, the largest protected area in Dubai.

Within the area is the solar park Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The park was located in this region as studies have shown that the area has ideal conditions for solar radiation. In particular, it has characteristics such as to minimize the so-called soiling impact phenomenon, i.e. the accumulation of material on the surfaces that collect light in solar systems, causing a loss of power of the system.[3]
Access to this region is quite difficult. In fact, at the date (2023) there is no public transport that allows it to be reached. The only road that reaches it is Saih Al Dahal Road which, starting from Saih Al Salam Street (D 42), near the Qudra lakes, reaches the Al Maktoum solar park. In 2022 the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced a significant upgrade of Saih Al-Dahal Road. The improvement project involves the replacement of the single lane road with a dual carriageway consisting of two lanes in both directions. Some roundabouts and a central reservation have also been added to improve the smoothness and safety of the road. The new road was opened in May 2022.[4]
