Yes it is. Please can you explain it. 2404:8000:1027:85F6:3D02:28FD:F813:760B (talk) 20:03, 15 January 2023 (UTC)

A previous editor wiped a whole paragraph 2 months ago.
Here is the relevant diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MrBeast&diff=prev&oldid=1128443004.
The blanking of this paragraph by User:Praqlon went unnoticed. The source is reliable and still in the article.
Would it be possible to restore it? 128.6.37.125 (talk) 20:10, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

- I put his tweet, that he made with his account. is that not good enough? the tweet was also the original source of the tweet. 209.141.160.137 (talk) 15:58, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- If you review the references currently in the article, it looks like there were two ads, one he would have purchased and appeared in and one someone else purchased in which he did appear. Izno (talk) 05:00, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
- And the tweet you provide above is clearly a joke to boot. Izno (talk) 05:02, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

Updated Chris Image
Can someone find an updated CC image for Chris? I feel like the current one is not representative of how they are now. I'm unexperienced in that department.
~Skylar (talk) 23:34, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- Skylar, I concur that their picture should probably be updated given their quite significant change in appearance. However, unfortunately, looking at the Free Image Search Tool & CC Search, I did not find any images. I guess we'll just have to wait until someone takes another CC image of them... {{ping|ClydeFranklin}} (t/c) 22:22, 14 April 2023 (UTC)

MrBeast is not dead - or there is at least no sufficient evidence on the internet from a trustworthy source to prove so. I recommend removing the death date of him as soon as possible. Thank you. 2600:8807:C47:9A00:9C3D:1C15:EEBC:47A (talk) 04:59, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

- What I think should be changed (format using {{textdiff}}): I think the following removed section should be readded in Controversy: [1]
- Why it should be changed: It was a POV/whitewashing removal of sourced content which went unnoticed.
- References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button): This diff. [2] shows User:Praqlon deleting the sourced content, which went unnoticed as he made another edit simultaneously.

Change file
Can someone change it to JimmyDonaldson.jpg? I didn't take it myself, but it's a free file. Graywastakensoimusingthisinstead (talk) 18:39, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Graywastakensoimusingthisinstead: And where did you find this file? Cause it seems like you took it from CNN which means you stole their image without giving them credit and it's a copyright violation so it's not free. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:44, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- I gave them credit Graywastakensoimusingthisinstead (talk) 18:55, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Graywastakensoimusingthisinstead: That's still not appropriate. Commons cannot accept copyrighted images even if credit is given. I've requested the file be deleted since we cannot leave copyright violations up. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:00, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

mrbeast's religion
mrbeast said in a podcast with Logan Paul that he is agnostic, that should be to the wiki Al-Aidaroos 18:44, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

On the Staples Minnesota page it shows that Mr Beast is from Staples Minnesota so it should say on his Wikipedia page that is where he is from. 69.168.245.112 (talk) 13:49, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Removed from Staples, Minnesota due to having no source and therefore being a violation of WP:BLP. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:52, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
Name
@Jonny Nixon: I don't see why the source would need to specify that its his real name. That's kind of implied unless it specifically says its a nickname. Also, that name is used throughout the article. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:17, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Jonny Nixon: Do you have anything to say about this? You've edited after I posted this comment and I'm trying not to edit war here. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:39, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- According to one of his staff members, MrBeast's birth name is something that is not Jimmy Donaldson. Some1 (talk) 12:25, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Do you have a source to back this up? Otherwise that's WP:OR. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 12:27, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link it here, but it's a comment made by one of MrBeast's staff members on reddit. Obviously reddit does not meet the criteria for WP:RS, especially for a BLP, but it's better to err on the safe side and exclude the 'birth_name' parameter from the infobox if there's a dispute about whether "Jimmy Donaldson" is his birth name. Some1 (talk) 12:36, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- It isn't disputed since it is supported by a reliable source. Reddit isn't reliable. Hell we don't even know if that person on Reddit actually is one of MrBeast's staff members. The source doesn't state its his birth name because they have no reason to specify that. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 12:54, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

- Are you sure it didn't start with someone editing Wikipedia? It was initially concluded to be a Wikipedia hoax that copied its way into news and removed back in 2021. 154.20.213.253 (talk) 01:54, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
