[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Anthony Velonis 1995.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you object to the listing for any reason. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 01:27, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not entirely sure what to put as the copyright status. Still fairly new to this. I know the person who took the photo was not the wedding photographer, it was by a guest (but which guest it was is what I'm not sure about), so I don't know what I'd replace it with. If you could help me out that would be cool. —Atvelonis (talk) 01:40, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The discussion is at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files/2016 March 21#File:Anthony Velonis 1995.jpg, so you should post your comments there as it will expose it to more editors, and in particular, editors with an interest in reviewing possibly unfree images. As Velonis is deceased, one might potentially use it under Wikipedia's non-free content criteria. Regards. -- Whpq (talk) 01:53, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Pitney Bowes

[edit]

Hello! I'm currently struggling to get feedback on a specific (and final) edit request to the update the Pitney Bowes article. You've assisted me with the Punit Renjen article a few times, so I was hoping you might have a moment to help with this request as well. To be clear, I am submitting this request on behalf of Pitney Bowes.

On the article's talk page, you'll see I've completed a series of requests for the Pitney Bowes page. My most recent and final request is here, which seeks to update leadership in the infobox and Leadership section (incorporating a recent edit to the live article since my request was originally posted). This diff shows the specific proposed markup change. The editor who reviewed the previous requests preferred I save propose markup for the entire page here: User:Inkian Jason/Pitney Bowes.

In short, I'm looking for someone to review the proposed update and then copy and paste the markup of the draft page and paste over the markup of the current article. Might you be willing to assist? Either way, thanks for your past help, and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 18:19, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again for your help! My only outstanding request is here, to add an image to the infobox. Might you be willing to help with this as well? Inkian Jason (talk) 18:52, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again, hope you're doing well! After successfully updating the Ciena article's early history section and working to revert problematic changes made by another editor, I've been struggling to get some feedback on this request to improve coverage of the company's later history and acquisitions. Would you be interested in taking a look at this request? Inkian Jason (talk) 17:30, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I can take a look when I have a moment. —Atvelonis (talk) 17:48, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Oscar Munoz (executive), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fortune (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Pitney Bowes edit request

[edit]

Hello! I'm a Pitney Bowes employee trying to find some help implementing a few straightforward edits to the company's page. You might remember that I reached out to you on the PB Talk page about a month ago, but since I haven't heard back I thought I would come here to ask for your assistance a little more directly. Would you be willing to take a look at my proposed edits? I obviously can't make them myself, since I have a conflict of interest. They're available for your review on the Pitney Bowes Talk page. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide. Cheers! MTatPitneyBowes (talk) 14:47, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

Dear Atvelonis, I would very much enjoy communicating with you as my late father, Hyman Warsager, was long time friends, WPA colleagues, and business partners with Anthony Velonis, as I'm sure you know. I have been adding to the article that appeared on Warsager this past summer and to articles on other WPA artists based on information from the books I've been acquiring on the art history of that era. I've become fascinated with that period in history. I'm currently working on and addition on their companies, Ceraglass & Ceragraphic, to the article on my father from some materials in my father's papers. In any event, I would certainly enjoy being in touch with you and perhaps sharing information and memories, if that would be of interest to you. Thank you and all the best, rwarsager. Rwarsager (talk) 02:53, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Rwarsager Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for the note. Well, I've mostly just got some art… the wiki page was a fun project a few years back, but my sources were mostly online. Everyone has a few Ceraglass artifacts that come out for the nice occasions, though I don't have much in the way of citable documents about them. I can direct you to Andrew (Anthony's son), who will have more documents & stories about Velonis, Warsager, and Ceraglass than I probably would. Email: mrvtroop62@gmail.com. —Atvelonis (talk) 00:55, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, and all the best to you for the holidays. I appreciate your reply. I will reach out to Andrew Velonis. I'm delighted to have this contact information.
Best wishes,
rwarsager Rwarsager (talk) 19:39, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
