[edit]He is an extremely good guitar player. Have you heard "Reptilia" by any chance?
Birth Year
[edit]He was born in 1980 it even says so on his father's website where it says 1980-81 [1]
- That is not a good source to use. It does not give a definite birth date, month, or even year. Do you have any good reason to doubt the birthdate that is currently listed? Also, please sign any posts you make to talk pages by putting four tildes (~~~~) at the end of the post. --Muéro 18:51, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:AH Yours to Keep.jpg
[edit]Image:AH Yours to Keep.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Requested move
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Albert Hammond, Jr. → Albert Hammond (The Strokes)
Not done Former page title is preferred.
It has come to my attention that this page was moved by Brewcrewer to the latter title. I reverted the page back to its former title and would request for a discussion to be taken in place before any page moves are carried out onto this article. I disagree with the page move because Albert Hammond, Jr. is known professionally by his full name, and the latter sounds really awkward. The page move is unnecessary unless Brewcrewer has a good reason to support the move. No harm intended. Signed, kotakkasut 08:43, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- In general, WP:NC discourages suffixes, hence my move. But I have no strong opinion either way. I just came by the article to revert some vandalism. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 19:31, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- WP:NCP discourages suffixes except when it's "the usual way for differentiating a person from another with the same name". In this case the "Jr" is used on his album covers (see Yours to Keep and ¿Cómo Te Llama?) so it's the best way to disambiguate from Albert Hammond. Since Brewcrewer has no strong opinion on the move and the proposer opposes the move, I think this can be closed. Station1 (talk) 20:31, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your opinion guys! Just so you know, I'm going to close this discussion and the page move will not commence. If anyone has any suggestions, you can revive this discussion in a new section. Peace. kotakkasut 02:51, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
