This redirect should not exist. Elaeis oleifera is a wild palm, occurring in Central and South America. The "oil palm", Elaeis guineensis, is of African descent and a widely cultivated cash crop across the humid tropics. Paulcloesen (talk) 03:24, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
