Citation format

Hi, Kiyoweap, thanks for your improvements to this article. However, I wish you had known about the WP:CITEVAR convention and first discussed changing the existing in-line Harvard citations to footnotes. What would be the easiest way to revert the footnoting while keeping your other edits? Keahapana (talk) 00:48, 26 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Keahapana. Well, I did initially try to maintain your style of referencing. But just too many unreferenced material need[ed] fixing.
My judgment call was using footnote style in order to maintain readability within ordinary amount of effort. I think most reasonable editors would agree.
If you disagree, I suppose you can demonstrate by converting them to the citation style you want to preserve. I just don't see this as practicable.
But I am not about to remove material that are matters of WP:Verifiability and WP:No Original Research policy on grounds of a WP:CITEVAR guideline issues. --Kiyoweap (talk) 17:10, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
