Thank you for coming to WikiWorlds Fair! Claim your complimentary shirt!

Thank you for attending! Wiki World's Fair - Your complimentary shirt!
Thank you User:Legoktm for attending the Wiki World's Fair at the Queens Museum in August! A round of applause to all who attended, socialized, gave lightning talks, edited, listened, and toured the Panorama of the City of New York. Thank you to Xavier Robles-Armas and the Queens Museum for having us. For the first time in Wikimania history, we held a T-shirt design contest during the event to generate a shirt for the conference. We are excited to announce we have produced a shirt with the winning design by User:Bagelpigeon. As previously announced, the shirts will be given, free of charge, to those that attended the conference. You are a confirmed attendee and now is your chance to claim your free shirt! If you want a shirt, we need your size!

What size are you? Please fill out this Google form or email: Wil@Wikimedianyc.org (One "L") Once we have everyone's size and we will order them and distribute them at local meet-ups or via mail. If you are out of town, please include your mailing address. The shirts will be available Feb or later.

(User:Pharos, seen here wearing a size large)

Please let us know by January 15 or come to Wikipedia Day 2023 at the Jefferson Market Library and let us know in person!

TFA Protector Bot: +semi-protection please

Hi Legoktm, would you mind adding semi-protection to TFA Protector Bot per Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)/Archive 186 § RfC: Automatically semi-protect Today's Featured Article? Thank you very much in advance and happy holidays! 😊 ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:49, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@ToBeFree: huh? It's been doing that for months now (example). Legoktm (talk) 23:54, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I think I see what has happened there. [1] "today, we are featuring two FAs (use plural)" – sorry, never mind! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:08, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah no, that was weeks ago. French battleship Bouvet somehow didn't get protected. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:09, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK took me a while to figure out what happened, see phab:T338006#9448777. Legoktm (talk) 05:39, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@BlueMoonset: I appreciate the final chance to salvage it, but I think I'm going to let this one go, I just didn't have the time to follow-up on it. Sorry for wasting time, I'll stay on top of my nominations in the future. Legoktm (talk) 23:36, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

TFA Protector Bot

Hi Legoktm :) I may be missing something, but I noticed that TFA Protector Bot may have malfunctioned slightly - Treat Myself got move-protected on 25 Jan, but the bot didn't also apply semi-protection prior to its inclusion on the Main Page today (31 Jan). Coverme

Hello friend. You're the maintainer of coverme, right? I tried to use it this morning and it seems like it is timing out. I get Wikimedia Toolforge Error. Our servers are currently experiencing a technical problem. This is probably temporary and should be fixed soon. Please try again later. after a couple minutes. Might need fixing when you get a chance. Thanks and enjoy your vacation! –Novem Linguae (talk) 16:15, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Novem Linguae: could you file this in Phab so it doesn't get lost? Legoktm (talk) 17:40, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, will do. Thanks for the quick reply! –Novem Linguae (talk) 18:49, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I want a new list

User:WhatamIdoing/Possibly underlinked medicine articles from Wikipedia:Bot requests#Early idea is going to be empty very soon. Could you give me a new list from Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa and Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink? It can go in the same page. WhatamIdoing (talk) 23:45, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

TFA Protector Bot

Hello Legoktm, the bot seems to have stopped applying edit protection to TFAs? JennyOz (talk) 04:40, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure why, but it stalled at 2024-02-01T23:00:16.584686Z. I've restarted it for now, will look in more detail later this week. Legoktm (talk) 01:22, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
