Vandalism
Sadly Nobody seems to ever notice the huge ammounts of vandalism on this page. It is an experiment to see how long it will go until someone notice them and changes the vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whm2 (talk • contribs) 23:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, we've noticed. Now, cease and desist reverting your false info back.Crboyer (talk) 22:31, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Very Well, the game is over, and someone else is Visual Effects trivia smart enough to recognize the vandalsim. User:Whm2 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whm2 (talk • contribs) 19:58, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm keeping this on my watchlist but can people keep an eye on user Whm2, who is repeatedly vandalising several of the Academy Award pages. Maybe we need protection for this page? Zarcadia (talk) 21:37, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I'll stop. Sorry. I've done this before, but I know it's stupid. -whm2 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whm2 (talk • contribs) 01:14, 19 August 2008 (UTC) And you don't need friggin protetcion when except around oscar time im like the only personb who goes on this page let alone vandalsises it!
Citations
How about citing the sources of where this all came from, anything like imdb.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.106.37.243 (talk) 23:09, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Winners
Currently the article only lists the winning films. It really ought to list the actual winners. -ErinHowarth (talk) 06:42, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
What? The page does list the films that won along with those who were nominated.Crboyer (talk) 23:07, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Special Effects Oscar
Shouldn't we list a page for the ancestor of this award, the Special Effects Oscar? We list the pages for other archaic Oscars. Why not that one?Crboyer (talk) 23:03, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
For those who don't know, the ancestor of this award was "Best Special Effects." It started in 1939; in 1963, it was split into two: Best Visual Effects and Best Sound Editing.Crboyer (talk) 23:07, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Pre-nominations
Can we add a section that list the pre-nominated films?--Norgizfox5041 (talk) 21:39, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
Template for the winners?
Was just thinking-there should be a template for the people that have won, granted it was a special achievement for a while and was under another name as well. Wgolf (talk) 22:41, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
