Article name

[edit]

Why does this one have diacritic marks? Other ancient Chinese don't, such as Cao Cao and Liu Bei. --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 03:58, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Something is preventing a page move. Seeing that you're an admin, can you move it to Yuan Shang for us? _dk 05:01, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd imagine the user who created this article thought it would be more formal or simply didn't realise they weren't necessary. I'm going to backtrack through his/her contributions list and see if there're any more like this one. Gamer Junkie 06:05, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, it was moved from Yuan Shang, but the mover screwed up and so I can't move it back. (Since the page's history is now written with something other than a redirect) I've already reverted most of that user's moves. _dk 06:37, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This problem is still present (the article name is still 'Yuán Shàng'); any way to fix it? Redmac54 (talk) 20:19, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, you can request that an admin move the page on Wikipedia:Move requests. _dk (talk) 22:29, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
