Neutrality
[edit]A few sentences in the article appear to be somewhat biased. Enigma msg! 06:33, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Any in particular? The article seems pretty neutral to me. AcroX 00:19, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
bias
[edit]"In 1988 Rev. Donald T. Malone, principal and former Dean of Students, was reportedly picked up by White Plains police for soliciting sex from a 16-year-old boy. While the impropriety was not made public by either the police or the school's administration, Rev. Malone was immediately removed as principal and reassigned to a parish.[3] During his tenure as Dean of Students, Rev. Malone sometimes wore a cape and carried a riding crop while overseeing detention.[3]"
This is really a long series of articles but i read/searched and the person who wrote the about sentences i believe is a malicious person. the information has been manipulated to smear the school/church. The last part was about wearing a cape and handling a whip while overseeing detention. The writer lied and in fact it appears from the article to have been in good fun, not in detention (he lied) but marching down the hall of this private school.
It said he admimistered sex from an 16 year old boy when if fact the age was never substantiated by the police. In any case he may well (indeed probably) have been picking up a prostitute who met the age of consent.
It said there was a cover up while there is no proof other than several journalists opionions. Here at wikipedia i would like to think opinions do not constitute an articles backbone. Peppermintschnapps (talk) 02:03, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- The article and how it's written seems pretty fair and balanced to me. It says 16 or 17, which I changed per your comment. As for the rest it just says he did it, with no other judgement. I removed the bias tag per those changes. --AW (talk) 06:43, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

The lead section
[edit]The lead section mentions the relation between Stepinac and Ustaše which may lead to false conclusions about a collaboration, while it lacks the information that Stepinac put a lot of effort in saving people and preaching often against the regime. Is there any particular reasons why this is also not included in the lead article? Would it be OK to include it to give a more objective assessment? TheWikiBadger (talk) 16:37, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
