Personnal changes 2013

Are there any sources for the 2013 changes? I tried to find the official announcement from Jack Irons but I wasn't able to find anything official at all. On his Facebook page he's not stating to leave the Wallflowers, there isn't anything announced on the Wallflowers' official webpage and Google doesn't come up with a source as well. At least there's one source for Greg Richling leaving the Wallflowers (http://loudster.blogspot.co.at/2013/09/bassist-greg-richling-quits-wallflowers.html), but the source says that Bob Dylan (!) is the Wallflowers' frontman, so I wouldn't consider this site as a music authority at all. Again, you can't find anything concerning this issue on the official webpage nor on the Wallflowers' FB page. So I would be glad if someone could provide sources for this paragraphes. 88.117.32.201 (talk) 22:07, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Genres

Hard rock? Glam metal? I own all 5 albums and either I have a very bad memory (and I've listened to 4 of them quite recently), they've done some other strange work off their albums, or I don't understand rock genres very well.

Someone edited them as Blues Rock. I think this is untrue. They may have bluesy riffs, but they are VERY different from bands like Led Zeppelin or Cream. Blues rock is definately not a good description. The Wallflowers are rock period... with hints of folk and pop-rock. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.110.247.242 (talk) 22:41, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possible copyvio

I have reverted this article to a version that doesn't contain identical text to that on http://www.angelfire.com/ny/myfreakinpage/wallflowers.htm. However, closer inspection reveals that the angelfire page contains a link to a site called zooando.com. Since the user who posted that text is also called "Zooando," then that user may be the original author of the text. I have posted a message on Zooando's talk page, asking for clarification. The new rendition is perfectly fine, but my new question regards the deletion of the link to my website *flowertoons and The Rami Lounge. Both of which are valid links and amongst the most heavily used by Wallflower fans - so much so that even I didn't add them in the first place. Grammys

Here it says that they won two grammys for "One Headlight" in 1998. [[1]]

First sentence

I'm not a Wallflowers fan, but its not fair to say they are best known as being the bob dylan's son's band, they are best known for their hit songs "One Headlight", "Three Marlenas" and their cover of "I started a joke" ny the beegees. It should say that they are also known for the fact that he is bob dylans son.--Atticus2020 23:24, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree. As such, and since no one else has dissented thus far, I'm removing that line. enderu 22:38, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Somerville

The page lists a number of places they are playing shows in 2007, and it includes Somerville. Where is that? Somerville MA? That needs to be clarified. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Colte94 (talkcontribs) 22:33, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it was Somerville MA. I cleared that up.

Genre (again)

There was a typo in the genre list where rock and country both lead to the same page. I changed the genre to just alternative rock because that seems to fit the band more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:3679:83E9:6100:D04A:743B:E407 (talk) 05:33, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
