Photos

[edit]

It would be great to get photos of him, especially if we could get some younger and some older. Frankie Rae (talk) 22:51, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

One photo is good, but better with a few, especially from younger days. --Frankie Rae (talk) 18:26, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Expand and Refimprove

[edit]

I intend to remove the Expand and Refimprove banners unless someone objects within the next few days. There's much more work to do (critical reviews of his poetry leap to mind), but in my estimation these banners no longer fit. Anyone care to comment? --Frankie Rae (talk) 00:47, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, you can remove those, but I'd advise cleaning up the external links; I doubt you need multiple obituaries, and probably only the best of the poems/interviews. Just a thought. C628 (talk) 14:15, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Removed. See also below on external links. --Frankie Rae (talk) 18:11, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

External Links - I reorganized these today, deleting many with dead links. I put the poetry first, since he was a poet. Other comments?

Also, the text near this dead Silliman link stated that it had many additional links. If someone knows how to get it restored, please proceed. I sustituted the Cornell College link, since they seem to be trying to be somewhat comprehensive. Here's the dead Silliman link I removed:

Thanks! --Frankie Rae (talk) 18:22, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My opinion, for what its worth, is that there should only be one or two links from each category should be included; ideally a link to a compendium of his poems so that one link can provide access to a lot of poems, a couple interviews and a couple obituaries. WP:EL is the pertinent guideline here, and it's unusually clear; you might want to have a look at that. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions, though please keep in mind I'm far from an expert in the topic. For a more informed opinion, you can also ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Poetry. Most people are generally pretty friendly here, and you should get some good advice. Cheers, C628 (talk) 18:53, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
