Untitled[edit]

As Belva Gaertner was acquitted of the charge of murder, surely is it not incorrect to describe her a muderess? Maybe there is a better word for Belva, O.J Simpson etc. any ideas? Ekilfeather 21:24, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: change to lead. While Maurine Watkins wrote the play Chicago, she refused to sell the rights to Fosse & Company, who were only able to purchase and create their musical Chicago in 1975 after Ms. Watkins's death. The film is based directly on the musical, rather than Ms. Watkins's play. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.136.75.209 (talk) 17:10, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
