Translation

There's some conflict between these two statements: "...stem from the phrase "Firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea are the seven necessities to begin a day". The phrase "seven necessities" literally means "open door seven items"..." Does anyone know what's correct? The one I added is referenced, but I'm no expert here. The first one (the one you added) is correct "seven necessities" , and if we translate each word it is: 開open; 門 door; 七seven; 件事items". icetea8 (talk) 14:28, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
