Controversy?

The final bit, about the Shingwuak thing, is controversy not too strong a word, especially in a BLP? Dbrodbeck (talk) 20:18, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It was me who added that a few years ago, and now in retrospect I agree it's too strong a word. Should we change it to something like "She presided during the 1990s discussions to potentially rename the institution Shingwauk University..." ? The wording is a little awkward.
