... that Xiaohong Rose Yang(pictured) conducted a genome-wide search for copy number variations to identify the first susceptibility gene for familial chordoma? Source: "Through a genome-wide search for copy number variations (CNVs), Yang identified the first susceptibility gene for familial chordoma—a germline duplication of the T gene that had eluded previous studies that focused on single nucleotide variants." Article is long and recent enough. There is text similar to the one in the National Cancer Institute, but this shouldn't be a problem if the content is in the public domain. Although I worry that the hook might be too technical for readers and a different phrasing could be considered, it is nevertheless an interesting and concise one, and a different hook could be too long. Overall, the article is in good condition and the hook is appropriate. I have gone ahead and linked the articles with others to remove the orphan tag.
