I've protected this page due to constant vandalism from several IPs and registered users in the past half hour. I've placed a full protection instead of semi-protection because I'm not sure how new the accounts are. Academic Challenger 06:54, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • This page along with some others (Herkimer, Mohawk, Frankfort, Ilion) in central New York seem to be the target of a persistent vandal, who uses a variety of sock puppet names. See an old list at Herkimer (village), New York, talk. I suspect that he is the same person who repeatedly vandalized the Herkimer village page many times using a variety of computers to evade blocking. Stepp-Wulf 01:41, 19 May 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Added to my watchlist; seems like a persistent one. I'll protect the pages if the problem keeps coming back. Antandrus (talk) 20:14, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Though rural, the North American Vegetarian Society has long been headquartered there (and reportedly is powered with wind energy). MaynardClark (talk) 21:05, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What does their presence in Dolgeville look like? I'm hesitant to include them if they only have a PO Box there.
Do you have a source for the wind energy statement? I know there are turbines throughout the area but I thought the electricity generated all went down to NYC.
I could answer some of these questions myself, except https://www.navs-online.org/ appears to be offline currently. Apocheir (talk) 22:35, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
