Slight confusion[edit]

Is the sokaren a palanquin for the Emperor when he is alive, that the Yase people also used when the Emperor died? Or is the sokaren ONLY for carrying the coffin in the funeral? Boneyard90 (talk) 15:49, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the Japanese version of this article, 葱華輦(天皇の棺を載せた輿), namely Sokaren is the vehicle carrying the dead body of an emperor, and I think this is the only usage of this word. --Ichiro Kikuchi (talk) 23:53, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
