About the 2nd violin concerto Op.38 which was alleged to exist in an earlier version of this page[edit]

Absent independent evidence, it seems that this may have been actually Wilhelm Kempff's violin concerto Op.38 in G minor (1932/rev. 1936) perhaps game-of-telephoned into an entry for Schillings. There is no evidence known to this writer for a 2nd Schillings concerto. ELSchissel (talk) 23:47, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tour of duty[edit]

The article Mona Lisa (opera) mentions his tour of military duty in France and Belgium during which he also composed the opera, but does not give a time-frame for when this took place, and most books that mention him seem concerned with his behavior after World War I, so - when was this tour?
