"Original research"

Hello, just noting that this isn't original research as per WP:CALC. But, of course, we probably needed some secondary sources to attest its relevance to the article. Cheers, RodRabelo7 (talk) 21:26, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @RodRabelo7. I'm aware of CALC, I just meant to imply that, like you said, we shouldn't draw a link between these two events unless a secondary source does. Thanks, queen of 🖤 (they/them; chat) 22:00, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Kevin Davis (police officer)

On 26 March 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kevin Davis (police officer), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that police officer Kevin Davis's father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all served in public safety? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kevin Davis (police officer). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Kevin Davis (police officer)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

On 26 March 2024, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Courcelles (talk) 14:40, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In future please take care to merge in changes that have been made while you're editing an article; do not simply "force save", as doing this destroys the work of other editors.
Also please consider use (and do not ignore) a spelling checker, especially if collaspe does not immediately catch your attention for being misspelled.Martin Kealey (talk) 12:42, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
