Hi. Please don't remove valid entries from Deaths in 2023, as you did with the above. His article clearly states the announcement of his death, made on 3rd August. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 10:14, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited John Jarlath Dooley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Irish. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:38, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, when you add people top the Deaths in 2023 page, please note that they should be in alphabetical order under each day. Thank you. Marbe166 (talk) 20:22, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:40, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Anna Strasberg (actress), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 16:17, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ursicin Gion Gieli Derungs moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Ursicin Gion Gieli Derungs. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Suntoloo Panoom (talk) 12:42, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Jim Hoffmann

Hello Gianlu2790, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Jim Hoffmann, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jim Hoffmann.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Triptothecottage}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

How do you know ...

... where Willi Brokmeier died? Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:01, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi [@Gerda Arendt] I just checked the corresponding page in German. Gianlu2790 (talk) 21:04, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We and they have no source for it, - we should leave it open. The announcement says where he will be buried, but he could have died somewhere else. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:09, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
[@Gerda Arendt] ok, I will delete it Gianlu2790 (talk) 21:11, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, if this page you created was a translation of the Polish Wikipedia article of the same name (or one of the other language versions), you need to say so on the article talk page for attribution purposes, you can do this by using Template:Translated page. Thank you Josey Wales Parley 15:43, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi [@Joseywales1961], thanks for your message, I translated the page from Polish to English using Google Translate (I'm not a native English speaker), unfortunately I don't know how to use the template and I don't know how it works, I translated the page "manually", sentence by sentence, I don't know if this type of translation falls under Wikipedia translations rules. If so, I don't know how to correct it. Thank you again for your message, have a nice day, good Sunday. Gianlu2790 (talk) 15:53, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
