He does not play for LiverPool F.C. He still plays for Southampton. He is rumored to be going to Liverpool but is not confirmed. Please change it back to Southampton until it is official that he leaves. Thank You. 24.205.68.223 (talk) 06:28, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

Someone has changed the squad number to 4 which needs to be changed back to 17. Also at the top, Southampton F.C. needs to be re-linked as said in the version by JMHamo before the disruptive editing begun. 86.147.131.235 (talk) 22:16, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

I have found incorrect capitalisations of the surname mid-way through sentences which should be changed from "Van Dijk" to van Dijk as displayed on the page title. The 'Van Dijk' 's at the start of the sentences should remain capitalised. 86.173.162.109 (talk) 16:47, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

- As per David de Gea, this is definitely wrong. Check out Tussenvoegsel for an explanation. – PeeJay 17:35, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- PeeJay2K3 Yes that is the correct way. The famous article Vincent van Gogh uses this type of capitalisation and so should this one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.169.255.138 (talk • contribs)

Goal change
He has now scored 1 goal for Liverpool. J0eyjames (talk) 21:46, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- The goal was scored in the FA Cup, not the League. JMHamo (talk) 22:46, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- Yet this has still being changed plenty of times in 2018. It shouldn't be changed as often as it has, latest incarnation happened today. I'm not sure if this is the same person who keeps doing that or if it is more than one. Iggy (Swan) 16:29, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
Family/Roots
Here my contribution, please feel free to add this on the wiki page:
Virgil van Dijk is half Dutch and half Surinamese. His Dutch father is Ron and his mother Hellen Fo Sieeuw from the South American country Suriname. Santoshgpanday (talk) 06:56, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
