Shouldn't this be called {{Cricket-bio-stub}} so that it's named like, say, {{australia-bio-stub}}? Enochlau 12:04, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No shit. I attempted to use this template and couldn't find it due to the inconsistent naming, so I moved it. — Mar. 15, '06 [16:01] <freakofnurxture|talk>

Really? What about {{australia-cricketbio-stub}} and all of the other national cricket bio stubs? See the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Cricket#Why has template cricketbio-stub been moved to cricket-bio-stub? -- ALoan (Talk) 10:52, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Stubs relating to sports usually have one hyphen less than all other stubs per an old convention, e.g. {{runningbio-stub}}. WP:WSS is aware of this, but so far no consensus has been reached regarding renaming all of them (it is rather a lot of work.) New splits should be "-cricketbio-stub" to be consistent with existing material. Regards. Valentinian (talk) 11:01, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the explanation, Valentinian. Based on this, I've moved this template back to cricketbio-stub. Stephen Turner (Talk) 11:26, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
