Template talk:Gaza–Israel conflict
Correcting POVs of links
[edit]This is mostly from Israeli point of view, i.e., rocket attacks vs. Israel and Israeli response operations (even when that is not the name of the article). First, we should use the actual name of any article (not repeating dates ok); second here are a list of relevant articles - in chrono order - from which several also should be included:
Background
- Since most people won't realize title is an article link, repeat Israel-Gaza conflict article which is a good summary (or put “main article” in parenthesis in title above)
- Palestinian legislative election, 2006
- Fatah-Hamas conflict
2007
2008
- Gaza War not Operation Cast Lead
2009
- Timeline of the Gaza War
- Casualties of the Gaza War
- Effects of the Gaza War
- United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict
2010
- March 2010 Israel–Gaza clashes NOT Operation Returning Echo

Definition
[edit]What is the definition of this conflict - what time does it span? Professor Jean-Pierre Filiu's book "Gaza: A History" published by Oxford University Press considers the 1956-57 Israeli occupation of Gaza to be part of the conflict and he includes the massacres such the Rafah massacre. Are there sources that say that that period is not part of the Gaza-Israel conflict? VR talk 17:27, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- In fact, Filiu points out that Hamas leader Abdulaziz Rantissi witnessed one of the massacres and later cited it as a grievance against Israel (p 97).VR talk 17:33, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
