school starts at 15 for the most part there are individual cases and exceptions for later age or earlier age but they are not the rule but the exception. Anieres program does not exist anymore!!! Naale are not involved in the decisions made by alumni after they graduate, it is irrelevant to this article!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Management's structure is a lot more complex than simply focusing on only the counselors seems malicious. There is a whole organization dedicated to the program, this is subject to change and also variations as we have over 20 schools! We have principals, coordinators, social workers, administration, counselors, volunteers and more the way the original writer describes it, it seems as if Naale leaves the fate of 15 year old's in the hands of some Some students benefit from the surrogate relationship reaching the maturity level which they couldn't achieve if living with their parents,[1] while for other students the physical separation from their families may impair their emotional individuation process causing psychological problems in later life.[2] - These citations are not directly connected to Naale, or about Naale. The writer added this to the article to try and shed a bad light on the program. It's defamatory. A regional director for Naale plainly stated: "The downside of this project is that parents and kids are separated, which is hard because it is a young age".[1] - This is one person's opinion and irrelevant to this article which describes the program. No one is saying it’s easy to leave home but going on Naale is a family decision, no one is forced to enrollee, and they can cancel and go back home at any stage, they are not prisoners. As the program manages all aspects of the students' life even providing surrogate parental figures (the administration staff, host families etc.) - the role of the parents in the complex immigration transition process is not obvious.[1] – as for this the parents are still the parents and they are involved in the kids life. The educational staff become kind of a family for the students to make sure they are doing well, they DO NOT try and replace the parents. I don't see who this is relevant to a Wikipedia article aiming to describe a specific program. "Prolonged separation from the family due to placement at boarding schools has been noted as a risk factor for permanently disrupting the bond between the child and the parent".[1] It may also "result in emotional, intellectual, and mental alienation toward their parents and their family that is not always possible to bridge" and "impair the separation/individuation process from their parents" which is of "utmost importance".[2] – this article is about a specific program not about the effects of boarding schools on young people. It is irrelevant! It follows, despite the parent confidence in the constancy of the parent-child relationship, that at the very least the bond between the parents and the child, whom they decided to send to the free program - so in a sense willingly outsourcing their further parental responsibility, may gradually weaken because of the parental role substitution, even if the result is perceived by their child as positive. It is also possible, although less likely when the student came from a functional family,[1] that the physical separation from the parents may disrupt the identity formation and therefore negatively affect the child's adult life. AGAIN, THIS IS IRRELEVANT TO THIS ARTICLE It also appears there are no regular alumni events per batch or in general, which may have something to do with the observation that the retreat into the safety of a peer-group of fellow immigrants is a natural, but only temporary stage of coping with the stresses of migration.[1] – this is false. We have an alumni department dedicated to helping and keeping in touch with graduates, they provide individual help, webinars, day trips, family events and more! We don't call them immigrants since this is a high school education program, they can immigrate or go back home, it's not an immigration program!! A lot of the information is either irrelevant or completely false.

Naale vs other immigration choices Taking into account known risk factors - the propensity of teenagers to think emotionally rather than rationally[1] so the burden and the responsibility for the life changing decision mainly lies with their parents, being separated from their biological family and potentially becoming emotionally detached from their parents and their siblings, the surrogate environment limitations, the possibility of developing long-term psychological problems[2] and given the lack of psychological research on the long-term impact of the program on its students - the decision to send a child to the Naale program should not be taken lightly. Naale is not an immigration program!!! It is a schooling program.
