This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Hugh Sung, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://hughsung.com/bio.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 21:01, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Hugh Sung

A tag has been placed on Hugh Sung, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g12.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. ViperSnake151 21:15, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Self-promotion

Hi there. I thought I'd pop in and let you know why you're being reverted and such. Basically, Wikipedia isn't a vehicle for self-promotion, nor is it good form to copy into it a chunk of self-written biography. If you are notable, and thus belong in an encyclopedia, others will note you -- Believe me, I learned this the hard way myself. --GoodDamon 21:20, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Hughsungcolor.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Hughsungcolor.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 05:06, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

a couple of things

you seemed to agree not to edit your article, but since then you've added another picture to it. Uploading pictures yourself is fine (more about that in a moment), but if you do, please mention the picture on the talk page, and don't add it to the article itself. If you completely avoid touching the article, people will respect that and it will be much better for everyone.

As for the images, you need to tag them with appropriate copyright notices, and, assuming you have copyright on those images, you need to give them some kind of free-for-use license, or they will be deleted. See WP:IMAGE and WP:IUP. Thanks — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 15:41, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Timotab - i put up the picture when one of the editors gave me permission to. i can't find the text where they indicated that now, don't know if it got deleted somehow? My apologies - i did ask before posting on the talk page and did receive an affirmative response. Sorry i can't seem to find the documentation for that permission - i'll try to be more careful in the future. Thanks for the heads up on that. Hughsung 16:59, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
