Fair use rationale for Image:Garbi paradeiso.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Garbi paradeiso.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aquasplash 22:01, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reply about image help

Hi there! you say you were having a little bit of trouble with fair use images, well fair use images mean that they are from othr websites and have only been permited for use on certain areas of Wikipedia, for example fair use images should not be used on User pages, for more info (I know it seems long and hard) but please see Wikipedia:Fair use. For the fair use rationale then you can use this template when uploading fair use images:

{{Fair use rationale
|Description=
|Source=
|Portion=
|Purpose=
|Resolution=
|Replaceability=
|other_information= (optional variable, can be left out)
}}

For more information on this you may wish to see the fair use rationale guideline, if you would like the image to be kept on wikipedia in which I noted you about above all you need to is remove the no rationale template I placed and add what I typed above for the template and fill the gaps in and that will make it suitable not to be deleted, however you have seven days for the images so if this is not done within this time then they will be speedily deleted but it gives you a lot of time to sort it. I hope this helps you and if you are still strugling please leave me a message and I'll help again. Sorry for the long message! Regards - Aquasplash 22:27, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you scanned it from the CD to your computer and you did not find it on anywebsites then you can use {{PD-self}} and that means you release it into the public domain or if you would like it to be copyrighted to you (if you made it) you can use {{CopyrightedFreeUse-User}}. Thanks - Aquasplash 11:58, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Despina Vandi

Yes I will edit it. I responded to the talk page on the Despina Vandi wikipedia that you wrote too. As I said there, it is my little project to improve the discograpies of some of the Greek singers over prob. the next month. I'll get to it very soon. Its hard work, but a good result. Greekboy 05:49, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I didn't realize that I was typing it that way. Just a word of advice. When you make new CD pages, you should try to categorize them too (add categories on the bottom) whenever possible. Greekboy 21:45, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Theodoridou.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Infobox FYI

Just FYI - there is an appropriate infobox for singles (not albums) at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Songs. Referenced from article Antique Dance (Remixes & Videos). Thanks. SkierRMH 03:29, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would you please clarify if this is an album or a single... you've used the album infobox & given an extended track listing, but listed the "type" as single. If it's a single, see my note above about the right infobox, if it's an album, then they "Type" should be "studio" and you can insert a line under it "Longtype = whatever" for clarification. Need help on fixing it, just drop me a note with the details. Thanks. SkierRMH 03:47, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discographies

Looks very nice. But I am going to try to message the person that took them out and see exactly why it has to be taken out. I read the rule, but they are being used to illustrate the information. If I can't, then I'll doing it like Peggy Zina's. I saw they took out the ones from Despina Vandi too.... Greekboy 02:35, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm. I plan to complain. The rule dosnt make sense. Because there is another rule I beleave that says you are allowed to use album covers to illustrate the information. Even if it is copyrighted. Greekboy 03:08, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Dinata antique.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Dinata antique.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:57, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use disputed for Image:Image:Garbi galazio.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Image:Garbi galazio.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:58, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I hope its OK that i'm replying under here. What website said it had new songs? I am curious. lol. But no, all the songs were previously released. Is it Safe? could be debated since it was leaked in good quality after many years of a cell phone recording, and then released by Sony to radio stations but unofficially as a real single. But anyway, keep up the good work. If you need any help, let me know. Greekboy 02:38, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I didnt even know that there was a request page. lol. I guess if I have time I can help out on some of those. Greekboy 03:11, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Heaven Music, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kannie | talk 17:07, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
