Question: Why should WikiProject Hawaii work on Hawaii Five-O (album)?[1] Perhaps you know more about the album than I do, but I don't see why it should be tagged. I removed it, but if you feel strongly about it, feel free to add it back. —Viriditas | Talk 00:21, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No worries

Don't give it a second thought, really. :) Reisio (talk) 03:24, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

South Tyrol

I've copied your message to CfD talk, where an admin (which I'm not) should pick it up. Thanks. Johnbod (talk) 09:44, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please help me to capture the Japanese script for Kazemake, 風まかせ contains elements of this, but I don't know which part it is. This is my late Wife's little sister's name, and I want to be able to write it. I just found out, I got the job teaching in Japan! :) Chris (talk) 07:06, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I don't know. --Soredewa (talk) 03:39, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bad faith edits

Would you care to explain which of my edits you consider vandalism? The article on Abdullah O. Nasseef‎ does not meet Wikiepdia's guidelines on notability of academics, so suggesting its deletion is perfectly reasonable. If Nasseef is notable, then adding citations to support his is a much better course than biting other editors. By the way, logged in editors are less anonymous than IP editors, and Wikipedia explicitly supports the use of IPs to edit from. OK, so you don't like my edits to Scouting in displaced persons camps. What do you want to do? If you won't let me do it, will you please get rid of those links to Ukrainian in some way that is acceptable to you? Ntsimp (talk) 14:58, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I see what you actually did, although your edit summary said it was just an undo. You might want to work on your edit summaries. Ntsimp (talk) 15:12, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There really, really was not much info available on this place (which is the case with most of Russian villages this minor), but I scraped together what I could find. Was there anything specific about this place you were looking for?—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 15:49, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI -WOSM map

"Thanks for uploading the WOSM Eurasia map and making it PD. I moved to commons so all mediawiki projects can use it, do not put "Image" in the actual name of the file. It's name on Commons is Image:WOSM-Eurasian Region.svg."RlevseTalk 17:52, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The above message appeared on my talk page. Getting the word "Image" into the file name was the result of cutting (too much) and pasting when getting tired. SagredoDiscussione? 18:54, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was afraid that it had been renamed automatically because of the word image and you wouldn't know where to find it. No big deal. Sagredo⊙☿♀♁♂♃♄ 21:55, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Autoarchiving of graphics lab images

Hi Chris,

Yes, as I understand it, when a picture is marked "done" it will be archived. I think this is supposed to happen approximately monthly, but I'm not quite sure how or by whom. --Slashme (talk) 14:02, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lead(II) nitrate, back to FA?

Hi, Chris, I've copy-edited the lead(II) nitrate article from the Chemicals wikiproject, after it was recentely demoted from its FA-status. Last time around, you contributed to the voting process. Would you please be so kind as to provide feedback in its now running FA re-candidacy? Wim van Dorst (talk) 18:52, 31 December 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Scouting WikiProject in the Signpost

We'll be in the Signpost on Wednesday, 2 Jan about 17:00 UTC, someone noticed us, be sure to read it, many of us get it, read it on my talk page if you like.RlevseTalk 02:00, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sturmtrupp-Pfadfinder

From the to-do list: I created the article (mostly translation of the German article): User:Phips/workshop/Sturmtrupp-Pfadfinder, take I look. Should I move it? Can you please take a look. I also invited Rlevse and jergen. Yours in Scouting-Phips (talk) 20:05, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese name

Hi Chris! I'd like to help to find the name. But 風まかせ is too long for a modern female's given name. And I cannot think of any similar sound name. It rings me nothing at all. The only name I could think of is 風祭/kazamatsuri, but it's a surname. Do you have any information about it? Regards. Oda Mari (talk) 20:23, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anything. Any clue will do. Oda Mari (talk) 20:39, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please proofread this

Hey, Chris, you have an eye for detail, so please proofread this for me. As compared to Image:London Midland Network ZP.svg I just know there's something that should be found Sagredo⊙☿♀♁♂♃♄ 22:52, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I should have realized that you're an MS Internet Explorer user. To view them larger, you could use the Firefox browser (much more secure, BTW) or install Inkscape just to use as a viewer.

Actually I think they're pretty much the same, except one has "Sagredoville!" Wanna guess which one?  ; ) Sagredo⊙☿♀♁♂♃♄ 05:45, 9 January 2008 (UTC) Thought I'd put it up with a comment like "It should be proofed, and will probably need changes. ; )" After all, it won't be linked into the article immediately. And they'll be so happy to get it. Sagredo⊙☿♀♁♂♃♄ 07:02, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

haiku?

Hello, were you talking about my haiku on my userpage? Thank you! --Kyoko 17:08, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much. I don't spend much time writing poetry, but I've read a lot of it. Thanks again. --Kyoko 20:50, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Coat of arms of Nepal, many others

There is just enough there that it should redraw beautifully. But I want to wait until I see how Fvasconcellos does on Harare, Portal:Harare. I have a sneaking suspicion that he's going to do awesome. How many others? Sagredo⊙☿♀♁♂♃♄ 04:29, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Read the line:
Article(s): Coat of arms of Nepal, many others
And took it as the title of the section.. It's late. I'm tired. Need my tinfoil hat. Sagredo⊙☿♀♁♂♃♄ 04:38, 12 January 2008 (UTC) You're right that I was confused. I was thinking you had many other coats of arms to put in. You break something? Sagredo⊙☿♀♁♂♃♄ 04:49, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

archiving

You've done everything correctly, all you need to do now is to add the January Entry to the GL Archive Box. (However I am now going to create a page, giving links to all the 2007 archives, and condense the 2007 entries in the GLarchive box into '2007'. I shall put the January entry in so you can see exactly what you need to do for next time. :-)
