Lakemont is a 900-acre master-planned community located in Richmond, Fort Bend County (Katy area), Texas. Operated by Friendswood Development Company, Lakemont has approximately 2,500 single-family homes in its community.
The Lamar Consolidated Independent School District serves the residents of Lakemont, and their children will attend Foster High School, Briscoe Junior High School, or H. F. McNeill Elementary School, which opened in August 2008.
