Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

International versions

I don't know if the list of the international versions is updated, but I do not think so. There is also a version in Greece named "Bob o Mastoras", broadcasting in Greek in weekend morning kid zones in various channels, such as Star Channel. miv

Picture

That's definitely not Bob the Builder. I am removing it.AmritTuladhar 01:47, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's my first time seeing this article, and I was wondering why there was no picture. Now I see why. Perhaps someone should add another picture? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by GavinTing (talkcontribs) 06:05, 21 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]
I just added a picture for the article. Xvrbx (talk) 22:03, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assorted Miscellaneous

This is most bizarre. Let us hope it is temporary and the article can be unprotected soon, as there is no real dispute, just a lot of vandalism from what I see. I for one now am watching it, SqueakBox 16:22, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Similar things (bogus characters etc.) were happening at the "Tweenies" and "Pablo the Little Red Fox" articles. I and others have updated these. Butterfingersbeck 17 January 2005

I noticed some obvious vandalism this morning. It's disappeared, so I think someone caught it. There was some Spanish and references to "Michael Jackson" and "Your Mom." David Uy 12:47, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy?

i can't find a single reference for any episode titled "A Day In The Barn With Hitler." Looks like straight vandalism. Can someone take a look at this? 192.223.226.6 14:30, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was horrified to find that the original American voice of Bob, William (Bill) Dufris, wasn't mentioned! I've added him to the page. He should have his own WikiPedia entry, I might have to rectify that.

In the interests of verifying my existence, here's a handy online guide to the glorious career of Paul Couvela:

Vandalism

Someone has seriously vandalized this page. I am trying to find who did it/the last good version now. Super Jedi Droid 05:16, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • this guy Riaazvgm has been doing it. The last few edits are all his and he made all these changes...can someone help with getting this cleared up? Super Jedi Droid 05:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We should lock this page. Nightrider & Tigger 16:05, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pilchard Link

Pilchard doesn't seem to have an entry of her own. Instead, it links to fish of the same name. Could someone rig up a disambiguation page, and/or a Pilchard (Cat) entry? User Calibanu 15.03, 21 January 2007

Catalonia is not a Nation but an autonomous community

Albeih Catalonian is a distinct language, it is being refered as a nation which it is not

Same things with Wales, that is part of the U.K., I renamed the Wales section as United Kingdom (non-English languages) and merged the Catalonia section into the Spain section. Xvrbx (talk) 22:06, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Someone unprotect it!

Unprotect it! I was going to add some pics!GalacticExplorer 19:09, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Backhoe / JCB

Can we put in that Backhoes mean nothing to us in the UK - as it's a British show! We know them as JCBs! Please?

Well, if you actually worked in the construction industry in the UK, you'd know them as backhoe loaders. JCB also make excavators, telescopic handlers etc. while other companies e.g. Caterpillar also build backhoes (in Leicestershire). So it wouldn't be very helpful to change to JCB. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.143.65.241 (talk) 09:33, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think you'll find , but obviously correct me if I am wrong, that 3 year olds working on building sites has been outlawed in the UK for about 200 years, so most of the viewers and their mums would know them as JCBs. I am a 43 year old dad who has quite a few labourer friends, and has done a bit of labouring myself, and I have never come across the term, backhoe B4 BTB. 86.0.201.30 (talk) 13:41, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Would agree that the term "backhoe" probably means nothing to the majority of Brits; JCB or even just digger would be more appropriate considering the county of origin and intended audience. Juux (talk) 13:57, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neil Morrissey vs Greg Proops

Since the show is originally British, shouldn't the original, British cast be listed in the sidebar, rather than merely be mentioned in an aside in the opening spiel?--Jayunderscorezero (talk) 02:15, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aspect ratio change

Older BTB series were shot in 4:3 but at some point this changed to 16:9. The only thing I'm sure of is that the Project:Build It series all seem to be in 16:9. Does anyone know exactly when they changed over?Juux (talk) 13:53, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kafka?!?!!?

Is BTB really based on a Kafka short story? I haven't been able to find a reference to this anywhere else on the net. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.182.87.35 (talk) 06:01, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, of course it isn't, and particularly not The Departure which is about a man, a horse and leaving.
