Campeonato Mineiro Segunda Divisão
The Campeonato Mineiro lower levels are the football tournaments for the Minas Gerais clubs that don't play in the Campeonato Mineiro First Division. The competitions are organized by the Minas Gerais Football Federation. Usually, the champions of a division are promoted in the next year to the immediately upper level.

1 The 1993 Second Level was named Supercopa Minas Gerais.
2 Since 1994 the Second Division is called Módulo II da Primeira Divisão (2nd Module of the First Division) while the Third Division is called Segunda Divisão(Second Division). Actually, besides of what the new names sugest, they still work as the second and the third division, respectvily.
