The ninth season begins with Grissom discovering Warrick shot in his car after the Undersheriff reports witnessing the shooting and points the team to a rogue cop and as Warrick dies in Grissom's arms. The entire team grieves for their fallen friend while unknown to them the killer, the Undersheriff, plans to head to Mexico. Also an old friend, Sara, returns when she hears the news. | |||||
