When Alex convinces her parents to go to the Statue of Liberty she decides to take a day off and Harper will not let her causing Alex to fire Harper and get in to a big fight. But Alex feels guilty and apologizes to Harper.
Magic: Alex uses "Take this girl with the skills of a bench and turn her into a serving wench" and "Take this girl who's a great serving wench and give her the back the skills of a bench" to improve and later destroy Harper's waitress abilities.

Magic: A jacket conjuring spell goes as "Stop all the racket, I'll wear a jacket". The spell, "Commakus Pancakus" conjures a plate of pancakes and "Transportium Nextorbitorium" teleports you to any planet.

Alex tries to convince Harper not to go to because she learns that Gigi plans to embarrass Harper by crowning her the biggest loser. She uses her magic to get back at Gigi and save Harper from humiliation. Meanwhile, Justin and Max send out a prank mail, one where they claim they're lost on an island in "The Lava Sea," and they receive unwanted help from emergency wizards.

Alex buys Justin an enchanted dragon disguised as a Beagle, because she felt bad she had lost his other dog, Willie, years ago. However, since it can still breathe fire and fly they have to hide from their parents that the dog is a dragon saying it's a lost dog and gluing up posters. One day, while they're at school, the dragon seller comes back, claims the dog and enters it in the local dog show where Alex, Justin, and Max must outsmart the dragon seller and retrieve Dragon.

Meanwhile, Alex and Max searches for her father's trophy she also accidentally animated so she can learn the reversal spell to inanimate Justin's zit.

Alex plans to use a love potion to make him fall in love with her also helping Justin to sabotage his meeting, but she accidentally drinks both halves of it, causing Alex to fall in love with herself. Max gets his full powers and must wear a goofy hat to control them while his powers settle in, but due to Alex drinking both halves of the potion she also needs the hat to avoid having a big head. This of course leads to trouble.

Note: We learn that Jerry Russo was the one who won the competition to keep his wizard powers, but he gave them to his brother so he could marry Theresa because it's illegal for a wizard to marry a mortal.

After Headmaster Crumbs finds out Alex lied about her parents and her report card, he suspends Alex's powers. Meanwhile, Max and Justin lose the guinea pigs, unknown to them, they are their parents.

She then plans a fashion show with Harper's distasteful clothing style to take revenge on him. Meanwhile, Justin tries to impress the new girl working at the Sub Station.

Riley breaks up with Alex seeing she is jealous all the time. She plans to make him jealous and transforms a mannequin into a man with the animation spell naming him Manny Kin. However, he falls in love with her and develops emotions, which prevents Alex from being able to change Manny back into a mannequin. Alex then tries to make Manny fall in love with Calico Woman, Justin's precious action figure and animates her too. Riley realizes that he himself got jealous and decided to go back with Alex. Meanwhile, Justin is left in charge of the house when his parents go out of town and his position of authority goes to his head.

The family prepares for Alex's quinceañera, a traditional celebration to mark her 15th birthday, but she doesn't want to wear the customary frilly ball gown and casts a spell to swap bodies with her mother, who never had a Quinceañera of her own. Also, joining in the party is Grandma Magdalena, who tries to teach the boys how to salsa dance. But she soon forgets to teach the boys so they use the Body Switching spell with the dance instructors to make it look like they had learned the dance. In the end, Alex does make it back to her body before sundown, and Grandma Magdalena finds the Magic Lair but thinks it is a wrestling room.

When Alex decides to take a shortcut on her Art History assignment, she brings historical masterpieces to life in order to answer questions on her worksheet correctly. Meanwhile, Max and Jerry play football in the house using a spell which spreads to Theresa.

The team is winning, but Alex's cheating could cost Harper the opportunity to academically lose. After she takes off her pants, she realizes that she has skeleton legs because she had the pants on too long. Meanwhile, Max and his friend Alfred think they can sell bottled water from the school's water fountain that everybody says tastes the best.

Wizardry Lesson: Wizard Wear - Featuring Speed Shirt- makes you run fast, Night Cap- puts you in a deep sleep, and Smarty Pants- makes you as smart as a genius.

Alex goes on her first date with Dean at the roller rink. She had heard rumors about the corner of the roller rink which they call "Dean's Corner". Rumor is that is where he kisses girls. Alex kisses him after she promises not to leave him but then Justin comes and tells Alex that Max is trying to stop the deli robber. Alex must leave the roller rink to help Max which makes Dean upset. The kids find out the deli robber was just their dad trying to teach them a lesson about working together.

WizTech is forced to close since a whole lot of plastic balls have mysteriously appeared, and we find out plastic is a weakness to wizards, so it is up to Justin to save WizTech from closing. The Russo family agree to take in Professor Crumbs and some of WizTech's students, including Hugh Normus, a character from previous two part special Wizard School (see above) and fellow student Ronald Longcape Junior, who quickly develops a magical connection with Alex. Ronald's dad is evil and Ronald tries to prove to Alex and Justin that he is not as evil as his dad. Max teaches Professor Crumbs how to assimilate into the mortal world, and Justin saves the day by finding the solution to reopen WizTech. Ronald turns into Dean and puts the real Dean in a blob of Jello. Ronald shape shifts into Dean and breaks up with Alex and invites her to stay with him in WizTech school. Alex agrees.

After enrolling in WizTech, Alex realizes her new crush, Ronald, has kidnapped her former boyfriend, Dean. Alex is turned evil during a game of tether ball. Alex saves Dean from being stuck in Jell-o and Justin, Max and Alex must team up to save WizTech from falling into the hands of evil Ronald and his not really-evil father.

The Russo family is on an assignment at PopCon, a popular comic-book and movie convention. They are on the look out for rogue wizards who may be using their magic. Alex and her siblings go as a special wizards-in-training assignment and Harper comes along for the costume contest. Alex begins to feel guilty for lying and keeping secrets, and she's tired from using up all of her energy to keep the secret. Will she be able to keep the secret, or is time for her best friend to know the truth?

NOTE: In Canada this episode was called A Wizard Outing.

When Cab number 804 is retired, Alex charms it back to life in order for her and her family to continue to cherish the memory that she was born in it. But when the Cab decides to remain by Alex's side at all times, she and Justin must figure out how to get rid of it and together they convince the Cab to go back to work and service others. Harper is starting to learn about wizard magic, and gets scared when Alex uses it. Meanwhile, Max charms a gurney to come to life. The animation spell is used to make the objects come to life and follow and talk to you.

Jerry and Theresa's anniversary plans are ruined over a fight about magic which prompts Alex to summon Cupid. When Justin reminds her that magic started the fight, Alex tries to hide Cupid from her mom by claiming that he is a life like doll from her Marriage and Family class. Cupid's return gets delayed after Max accidentally breaks his arrow and it strikes Justin. Harper finally asks Justin out and he accepts because he got hit by the love arrow, and Harper is excited until this "new" Justin starts to bug her, and she starts to miss the "old" Justin that didn't return her feelings.

Blooper: Towards the end of the episode, when Theresa is speaking to Jerry and says, "You're mine. Don't you forget that," you can clearly see that her cleavage was blurred so it doesn't draw too much attention.

Jerry instructs his kids to each select an alternate career in the event that they do not become wizards. He ends up disappointed with their choices when Max chooses to be a magician, and Alex and Justin decide to form a band. Justin casts Harper as Tinkerbell when he directs a school production of "Peter Pan," but Alex must play the role when Harper becomes injured Alex tries to throw her self off the stage but fails. Alex then gets a real fairy (Rachel Cannon) to play her part, but she gets busted. Max writes a review of the play.[1]

At the beginning of the episode, we find out that magic is out for a while. Alex tricks Harper into letting her take care of a the one of a kind dress that Harper's new boss designed for fashion week. But Alex wears the dress, and she gets caught by Justin in her room. She then drops his tray of food on him, and he then hugs her, ruining the dress. Alex must figure things out on her own since magic is gone. Meanwhile, Justin and Zeke try to find a way to pick up the models that are in the fashion show. Later, Alex tells Harper that the dress is ruined. Minutes later, Mr.Frenchy (the designer) tells Harper that his fashion show was double booked. Alex is with Harper at the time, so she asks Mr.Frenchy if he would like to have it at the sub station. Justin and Zeke take advantage of the models staying at the sub station by getting them to play Dungeons and Gargoyles with them. But the models accidentally get food poisoning from eating bad sandwiches. Magic comes back so Alex can finally set things right. [2]
