April 2009

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Tommy Walter has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/abandonedpools).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 07:31, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating Wikipedia's policy against personal attacks. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

You blocked me even after I stopped my mild trolling, and what's all this hubbub about my ISP? They have nothing to do with what I edit on Wikipedia, and even mentioning them could be construed as a threat. Not sure why you took it upon yourself to block me either, I was given the appropriate number of warnings and I ceased after such warnings were delivered. Pretty sure your block goes against Wikipedia's moderator guidelines...also, you didn't list how long I'm blocked for, only that it's temporary. Care to explain why I was blocked, considering what I have just told you?

Decline reason:

Sorry, the mistake was on our side; you should have been blocked sooner. "Mild trolling" is as unwelcome as blatant vandalism; if you're not here to help build our encyclopedia, you don't need to be here at all. --jpgordon::==( o ) 00:25, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

So why are my legitimate contributions being reversed as well? I made a contribution to the article on the Winchester 1200, and it was reverted, even though there was no trolling, just srs bsns. If admins are here to police Wikipedia and subdue any trolls, that's understandable. What I cannot understand is how an administator is somehow deemed to be more knowledgable on every single topic that exists, as was demonstrated in my aforementioned example. Seems to me the police need some policing...hmmm?

Decline reason:

Declined because this is not a proper unblock request. Exploding Boy (talk) 01:09, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
