Yesterday Sony, in announcing KillZone 2 stated that GoWIII would be a Q4 09 release. That's not exact but that's better than TBA. (See [1]). I'm sure a more exact release will be announced at E3. --MASEM 13:32, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actual Gameplay Footage

I'm not a fanboy by any stretch, actually. In fact, I own a PS3 which is why I was annoyed when I watched the 'actual gameplay video' only to discover that it wasn't. You can tell because there is no transition between animations, as there is in the E3 footage. I'd also thank you to refer to the Wiki guidelines when attempting to articulate an opinion without resorting to needless accusations and empty insults.--My name is slim Davey 20:01, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

March 2010 is Q2 not Q1

The release date was changed to Q1 2010 by somebody citing an article saying it may be released in March of 2010. The nearest Q1 is fall of 2009, Q2 2010 includes the first few months of 2010. This is financial years, not normal years.24.65.95.239 (talk) 01:13, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cross Platform

I hesitate to even ask this because it's essentially the worst kind of hearsay but it would be important to the article. A friend of mine mentioned that the game will be cross-platform soon after its PS3 launch. I can't find anything about it online though. Anyone else heard this? The game is being published and developed in-house by SCEA itself. I very highly doubt it will go cross-platform, as that would pretty much kill the ability to sell their own console through the enticement of this game being an exclusive. SpaceCow4 (talk) 08:22, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

God of War IV?

Release Date March 31st 2010 ONLY!

The game is only released on March 31st 2010. The March 16th 2010 on Best Buy's website is when it arrives, if you look closely you will see they don't release it until March 31st 2010.

It should stay as March 2010. From Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Article_guidelines#Release_dates:

For unreleased games, vendor sites should not be used as verifiable sources since their date is likely based on their best estimate of when the game is to be out; always look for corroborating statements from reliable sources to confirm these dates.

There have been no corroborating statements from reliable sources for March 16, 31, etc. Therefore, please keep it as March 2010, which is the most accurate date.24.80.177.235 (talk) 01:04, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
