My World is the debut studio album from Canadian singer Justin Bieber. The first edition[5] of the album will be released on November 17, 2009, via Island Records, and will be re-issued in February 2010, with new songs[5]. The album's lead-off single, "One Time", was released on July 7, 2009, and reached the Top 15 of the Canadian Hot 100 as well as the Top 25 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. His next three singles are set to be released exclusively on iTunes only. The second single, "One Less Lonely Girl", was released on October 6, 2009, and charted within the Top 10 of the Canadian Hot 100 and Top 20 on the U.S. Billboard. The third single, "Love Me" was released on October 26, 2009 and the fourth, "Favorite Girl," was released on November 3, 2009.[6]

Promotion and release

During the summer and fall of 2009, Bieber went on a promotion tour to promote his debut single, visiting several radio stations and performing exclusively. Some of his stops included American Top 40, Z100[7][8] and Radio Disney.[9] Internationally, he appeared on the European program The Dome and performed "One Time". His television appearances include appearing several times special guest on YTV's MuchMusic, presenting at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards[10] and performing on mtvU's VMA tour.[11] He performed "One Time" and "One Less Lonely Girl" on The Next Star's finale, on September 26, 2009.[12] On October 12, 2009, Bieber made his first non-MTV U.S. television appearance when he performed "One Time", "Favorite Girl", and "One Less Lonely Girl" on The Today Show's Toyota Concert Series. Many fans had begun camping out for the concert over thirty-two hours before his performance,[13] and Bieber went to surprise the fans that were already there.[13] The heavily packed concert resulted in high security and barricades nearly being broken down.[14] Bieber will appear and perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 3 and 16[15], Live with Regis and Kelly on November 12[16], Good Morning America on November 14,[17] Lopez Tonight on November 17[17], and The Wendy Williams Show on November 27[17]. In addition to the talk show appearances, he will be appearing on True Jackson, VP, coinciding with the days before the album's release[18][19]. He will be one of the headliners performing at Z100's annual Jingle Ball concert on December 11, and also at K-HITS 106.9's Jingle Ball[17][20].

It was announced that Bieber will join Taylor Swift when she returns to the United Kingdom for two dates of her Fearless Tour on November 23 and 24, 2009.[21]
