Rollback (add request)

I have been quite active patrolling recent changes for vandalism with twinkle and believe it would be good to have the extra speed which huggle provides. I understand that the rollback feature is only for reverting what is obviously vandalism. gz33 (talk) 11:16, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have a handle on Twinkle, I would like to try Huggle. I do understand when and when not to use Rollback. Peteypaws (talk) 03:42, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am an active user, i edit daily. I actively revert vandalism and warn users depending on what they have done. I believe this feature would be a good addition in helping me do so :). (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 22:09, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, From looking over your contribs, it appears that you've only just started working in vandalism reversion, and being that you appear to be doing reversion manually, I recommend you try using twinkle first, and then after a week or two with using that, re-apply here or ask on my talk page and I'll be happy to grant you rollback once you have some experence with semi-automated anti-vandalism tools. I've been here an active recent changes patroller, and the rollback feature would make reverting vandalism faster. I think I have enough experience here, and also a fair amount of edits. DARTH SIDIOUS 2 (Contact) 11:40, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Would like to have rollback to help with vandalism, had it removed several years ago for taking part in an edit war but since then i have been avoiding edit wars and have been cleaning up articles Lerdthenerd (talk) 10:12, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Not going one way or the other as I was involved in the decline when you re-applied. However I'm a little concerned about some of the intemperate edit summaries in you undos. I'll leave this to another admin however. Pedro :  Chat  13:04, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done, I'll go ahead and AGF, but I'll be reviewing your rollbacks to ensure that you do not resume edit warring with the tool. Nakon 19:50, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
thanks!--Lerdthenerd (talk) 10:22, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've been editing and patrolling for a while now, first manually, then with twinkle. I'd really appreciate the extra speed and facility granted by rollbacker rights. thoriyan 04:52, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
