- More often I do translations at Marathi Language wikipedia. I am looking for some facility that will give me any all sentenses (or with comas to fullstop clauses) from selected english wikipedia page/s in table format one after another with second blank column which we can use for translated sentense.
I want to do this for selected number of representative pages from each category. So we can build a frequently required translation corpus at our local wikipedia that will save our time to some extent.

- Maybe you could try Wikipedia:Help desk? It seems highly unlikely to me that such a specific tool would exist.
- I leave the question open for now but do not be surprised if it doesn't get an answer soon.

We at Marathi Languge wikipedia Wikipedia:NavFrame by using Marathi Languge options for word "hide"; and "show"; at MediaWiki:Common.js so whenever any template is taken from enwiki it automatically shows Marathi alternates for "hide"; and "show"; words.
While our present provision is good for Marathi languge reader in exceptional cases where we need to support non -marathi reader we want to have additional option of "hide"; and "show"; english words .
Well I do not have necessary Java and css expertise. May be some one can help me out by giving more apropriate MediaWiki:Common.js syntax for this purpose.Mahitgar (talk) 12:32, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

- What exactly do you want to do? Just change what the button says?

- I need to give external link of Google en|mr dictionary in a table at mr wiki.The related google full URL inlcudes | sign and probably that sign is not allowing at mediawiki table to include a full URL external link .
If I use http://www.google.com/dictionary?aq=f&langpair=en|mr&q=&hl=en I am getting following less than perfect result ,any soultions please ? Mahitgar (talk) 05:36, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

The problem is that Google uses pipe characters (|) in their URLs, which Mediawiki interprets as table syntax. Unfortunately, this means you're not going to be able to link to that within a table. Sorry. Hersfold (t/a/c) 05:40, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

- Please help us to avoid an unecessary blank window coming below the button when we insert an inputbox in show and hide syntax,facing the said problem only at Marathi Wikipedia. en wiki does not create blank window below the btton.Please see at mr:विकिपीडिया:समाज मुखपृष्ठ/धूळपाटी and do provide passible help 05:02, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- mr:Mediawiki:Common.js contains older version of “Dynamic Navigation Bars (experimental)” than en:Mediawiki:Common.js. Maybe updating it could resolve the issue. Svick (talk) 14:43, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
