As a general principle, why identify Frank Lowy as "a Jewish Australian businessman". Why not just an "Australian businessman"? Without some kind of religious context, this is simply gratuitous. Do we drop in the fact that someone is a "Christian businessmen" if there's no reason to do so? I'm changing this entry. And no, I'm not Jewish. Nor do I have some special vested interest in Frank Lowy. But fair's fair.

Bold text Frank lowy is the worlds most sucessdful businessman he has 14 billion dollars in his name and he hates his mother who he sued for 6 million dollars when he was 36 because she called him a crap businessman.

needs npov-ing, not sure how. clarkk 16:36, 18 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Like Rupert Murdoch and Kerry Packer, he rewards himself handsomely for his services [1] and provides very well-paying jobs in his company for his sons (Steven and Peter).

No POV

Removing the POV. It is relevant to put his achievements as soccer guru in. Ehinger222 12:30, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I find it very interesting that you revert edits based on POV, yet included this comment in your eits "however not winning the cup was considered as an embarassment to a country as sporting proud as Australia." Anyone with a solid knowledge of football knew that Australia was going to be hard pressed to reach the round of 16, and it would be even harder to get further. What Australia did was fantastic, but I do not know any football fans who thought Australia was going to win, let alone were embarassed by not winning the World Cup.Tancred 22:29, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There are a lot of Aussiball Rules trolls in Wikipedia editing all aspects of Australian football to suit their small minded liking. --202.47.51.86 11:23, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Religion

I'm not sure why this person's religion is in the Lead. It hardly seems relevant. --Dweller (talk) 10:30, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FIFA board

"In September 2008 he was announced as a part of the FIFA board." -- this doesn't sound right ... I thought he was accepted onto the 'World Cup committee' which is a different entity entirely? -- Chuq (talk) 12:20, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

References.

I am doing an essay on Frank Lowy. There are nowhere near enough references. Htimsleinahtan (talk) 10:41, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
