Jetix Play (Formerly Fox Kids Play) was the sister channel of Disney XD owned by The Walt Disney Company. The channel was launched on January, 2003 and showing classic animated cartoons and animated television series. It was broadcast 17 hours in Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Kazakhstan & Ukraine. Jetix Play was founded and formerly known as Fox Kids Play.

Jetix Play in English was also distributed in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Serbia, Estonia, and Israel.

Advertising was shown in Turkish and Polish; the voices in the ads were only heard on the respective audio tracks. The other audio tracks either mute the ad's voice track (if such was available) or replace the entire audio with Jetix stock music. The replacement music in question is also used on other multilingual Disney-owned channels in Europe, such as Disney Channel CEE.

Disney Rebrand

Jetix Play was closed on August 1, 2010 in all countries except Romania. (on September 1, 2010 in Turkey and it was replaced with Playhouse Disney).[1] Playhouse Disney is not licensed to air in Russian cable networks, and therefore will not be available there. It is unknown whether all operators will air the new channel.
